Field Work Parties

Opening Day Is Near

We need everyone's help to get the field in shape for the upcoming baseball season. Francis, Benard, Conklin and Conklin II all need work this season. 

For each of the day's below, we will meet down at Francis Field at 8:00 a.m. We have a lot of things to do, as always we need a lot of help. Don’t be shy, get involved meet new friends have some fun, help your kids. Bring your tools, shovels, rakes, wheel barrels, leaf blowers, back-hoes bulldozers whatever just bring yourself. 

Work Party Dates

LIST OF ITEMS TO BE COMPLETED

Francis:

1. Install new speakers

2. Put up sponsor signs

3. Put up information signs (no pepper, no littering etc...)

4. Secure JML sign on center field fence

5. Fix scoreboards

6. Hang backstop mesh

7. Rake, pick up trash

8. Move clay out of path by batting cage

9. Remove snapple machine (we need to get this to the dump)

10. Remove freezer chest (we need to get this to the dump)

11. Clean gutter on stand

12. Move 1 set of bleachers to 3rd base side

13. Add ramp under stand window (so kids can be up higher)

14. Paint back of 3rd base dugout

15. Fix foul lines (bad bad shape)

Benard:

1. Install speakers

2. Install garage door opener

3. Install hooks for shed

4. Hang backstop mesh

5. Rake, pick up trash

6. Paint back of dugouts

7. Dig dry well

8. Remove stone pile 

9. Fix foul lines (bad bad shape)

Misc:

1. Bring training equipment from Westy's to fields (soft toss nets, L screens, pitching machines)

2. Assemble equipment above

Supplies:
