2010 Fall Baseball Sign Ups
Come join the Milford Junior Major League for our 18th season of fall
baseball.
Milford Junior Major League is
pleased to announce that we are in the process of merging with Daniel S.
Wasson / Babe Ruth. This merger will provide the largest youth baseball
program for ages 4 – 18 in the City of Milford. For this fall we anticipate
a 16 and under division (16U) which will play in Milford and surrounding
towns as a travel league.
There will be 5 divisions consisting of Shetland ages 4-5, Pinto
ages 6-7, Mustang ages 8-9, Bronco ages 10-11, and Pony ages
12-14 that will play under Pony Baseball Rules. The 16U division
will play under Babe Ruth Rules.
We anticipate an interlocking schedule
with Stratford in the Mustang, Bronco and Pony Divisions. So get out and pass
the word along so that we can make this the most successful fall season yet.
All
children born after April 30, 1993 and before May 1, 2006 are eligible for the
fall season. Age groups and division are listed below along with registration
fees. Children eligible to play in one of two divisions will be placed according
to ability. The program will be run similar to our spring program, playing under
Pony Baseball Rules. Each player will be provided with a team shirt and hat.
Teams will be formed the end of July or early August after evaluations, with
games starting the end of August. The schedule will consist of approximately 12
- 16
games. All players who register are expected to maintain an acceptable level of
attendance for practices and games. Parent are also needed to manage, coach,
umpire and help with field maintenance.

register in person with a parent on one of the following nights:

Items required for registration:
1) A copy of each child's birth or baptism certificate, (new
players only, please do not bring your original certificate, we can not make
copies).
2) Parents insurance company name and policy number.
3) Each player should be present for uniform sizing.
4) Check made payable to: Junior Major League of Milford.
